2003 : second edition of the fly-in...

In spite of very poor weather, the first edition of our Jodel Lovers Fly-In on September 7th & 8th 2002 was a success. 44 crews had booked, 26 made the trip to Saint-Omer (16 Jodel). 14 came from abroad : Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and UK.

The flying club has decided to organise the second edition this year and hopes that the fly-in will become an annual event...

This meeting is dedicated to all Jodel lovers. All kind of planes are welcome, even if our objective is to gather a majority of Jodels... The fly-in is not an "Airshow", public are not admitted and the airfield remains open to traffic during the two days.

Participating pilots are invited for a meal on Sunday the 7th September (at lunchtime). Prior booking is required. The cost for the lunch is 10 € including drinks, payable on the day. To help with the organisation, would pilots who intend to participate kindly inform us before September 1st (a registration form will be very soon available on this page for on-line booking).

For pilots coming from remote locations, a welcome comity will be provided from Saturday afternoon. Accommodation and meals rest at your own charge. We can arrange transport from the airfield to Saint-Omer and also to the War and rockets history museum located around 5 kilometres from the airfield.
